Dallas (November 20, 2005) - Group builds on 'sexy side' of tech - About half of all students in U.S. law schools and medical schools are women. But women remain under-represented in science, engineering and technology.

DALLAS (May 6, 2004) - Alliance of Technology and Women (ATW Dallas Chapter) will host “Rising to Lead” on May 19th at The Westin Hotel.
The panel consists of women who have each risen to key national leadership roles in their respective organizations and marks the first time women have served as president in each of these organizations within the same time period.  This national tour is intended to put a personal face on the successes and challenges that shape high-profile executive careers for women in technology.

DALLAS (April 27, 2004) - Alliance of Technology and Women (ATW Dallas Chapter) will host its second annual GREAT MINDS program “Girls’ Night Out – Turning Technology into a Fun Career” at The Science Place.
The event is designed for girls ages 10 and older and the adults who escort them to educate girls about career opportunities in technology.  Wanda Gass, Technical Vice President, Texas Instruments, will deliver a keynote address to instill enthusiasm about technology careers. After her speech, the girls will participate in a Scavenger Hunt and adults can take part in a panel discussion.

DALLAS (April 16, 2003) - Alliance of Technology and Women Dallas Chapter Hosts GREAT MINDS™ "Girls Night Out"
The ATW GREAT MINDS program bridges the gap between industry and schools by establishing community programs and groups focused on exposing girls to career opportunities in technology, therefore making an impact on participants prior to college and post-secondary education.

DALLAS (March 6, 2003) - Alliance of Technology and Women Promotes the Importance of “Dressing for Success”
Empowering Technology Professionals Globally with a Night of Networking and Fashion
The event will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at Dillard’s, Valley View Mall. Registration will begin at 5:30pm and the presentation and networking forum will kickoff at 6:00pm. Dillard’s is partnering with Lancome and Liz Claiborne as the featured sponsors of the evening in which the topic “Dressing for Success” in the corporate environment will be addressed.

DALLAS (January 10, 2003) – Alliance of Technology and Women Hosts Joint reception with Texas Instruments, Technology Workforce Partners, and Catalyst
The Alliance of Technology and Women, ATW, will be presenting a first-of-a-kind event sponsored by Texas Instruments with Technology Workforce Partners and Catalyst on Monday, February 3, 2003 at The Dallas Women’s Museum at Fair Park from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. This function will give power and passion to every woman’s professional agenda.

With a mission of creating an environment of mutual support and sharing among professional women through specifically designed, limited time, and individually prescribed mentor/mentee relationships, The Alliance of Technology and Women, ATW, Launched its Mentor Program on January 21.

DALLAS (October 22, 2002) - Nonprofit tech group chooses Dallas as base
